in protest of today's grim, cold, gray weather, some shots of SPRING when SPRING was still quite YOUNG (we miss you, April)
the very first tree i saw begin to flower. this is myrtle ave at vanderbilt ave on April 9th
now three shots of the little park just next to the brooklyn museum, at the corner of eastern parkway and washington ave:
and two more from a few blocks further down on eastern parkway:
the eastern parkway shots are from later that same day (april 9th)
finally, two shots from clinton ave between park and myrtle
this one looks for all the world like the antebellum south...straight out of natchez, mississippi
the above are from April 16th
---
posts have been slow lately, but i'm working on a few different projects...
one, i still need to tackle the southern part of crown heights
two, i'm working on some photos of the school i work for, and some artwork that my students are producing
three, i'm very interested in featuring some of the fort greene/clinton hill avenues (clinton ave in particular), so look for those over the next few weeks
suggestions are welcome! in the meantime, i'll be hoping for sunshine and temperatures in the seventies to return...
